A 4.5 inches (about 137cm) long PENIS bone fossil was auctioned in a gallery in August. The anticipative price for this "penis" is 12,000 to 16,000 USD, and finally the auction was achieved at a sum of 8,000USD.
This unique bone fossil was first found in Siberia, and belonged to an ancient Walrus (aslo be called as "sea elephant"), of which kind is considered has already annihilated 12,000 years ago. The auctioneer believes that this is the biggest one among the known mammalian penis bone fossils.
Chait,the manager of gallery, said there're actually few people want to own this "penis", by reason of that even though he identifies with the value of history of this fossil, but no one would like to really hang it on the wall of living room...
